The government should give more attention to the Internet issues in the country

The government should give more attention to the Internet issues in the country: This is the opinion of IT Leaders conference held in Aghveran.
The main problem discussed by the market participants was the interconnect contracts concluded among the operators, where a hard situation arises.  
Because of the limits held by the providers the information lose and difficulties in domestic infrastructure formation occurs. 
The market participants think that the role should be given to the Armentel Company, but the service proposed by the company is expensive.
The issue was discussed at the IT Development and Support Council at RA Prime Minister’s authority and the correspondent committee was formed. 
Without waiting for the state support, the providers try to solve the problem themselves.  Today many providers based on the mutual appointments are connected, providing inner field where Armenian recourses can exchange the information inside the country. 
The mutual interconnect is on the non-profit principle. The providers try to find civil solutions on the legislative level. The issue was already presented to the PM discussion.
Among the solutions, the operators mention the consortium opportunity, which will solve the problems from one point. The participants mentioned the interconnect opportunity for the inner institutional structures.
Among the local internet market issues the problem of web page hosting was mentioned as well.
One of the main drawbacks is high prices, which cannot be reduced due to several consequences. Especially the product is produced abroad but is necessary for available and flexible internet provision and demands investments.  
In opinion of the participants, the customer service is a problem as well.
"Irrespective of reasons the responsible in front of the customer should be not the foreign operator but the contract concluded company.," thinks Mr. Kalantaryan։
Today many countries don’t support the private sector but in Russia e.g. the support is provided on national level, that cannot be said about RA.
When there will be some companies for the international negotiations RA will have another opportunities and price policy. But today the Armenian operators have to deal with non characteristic services. 
"The connection and acceptable pries are not the only important things, the high quality customer service is important as well" mentioned Mr. Kirakosyan.
