Implementation Second Phase of "e-School" Information System Started in Yerevan Secondary Schools
Presentation devoted to implementation second phase of "e-School" Information System developed by "Nork" Information-Analytical Center was held on September 6, 2011 at School No. 130 after Nairi Zaryan.
Implementation Second Phase of "e-School" Information system started in Yerevan secondary schools. Educational and financial activities of Yerevan schools will be input into Schools management information system. The system will control schools management process online.
At the end of each working day teachers will input register information into the information system, so the pupils' parents will be able to follow their children's progress via the Internet. Department of general education of Yerevan City Hall will monitor the register and other data compliance with data of schools management information system once a month.
Yerevan City Hall can see all schools’ data and make analyses by which Department of general education will asses a school’s progress and monitor financial position.
"The program will also reduce the risk of corruption. Program "Help your school" has a success. It considers financial flows to schools, besides the City Hall finances the school according to its pupil number. Please note that the problem is not in non-confidence, but more transparent and targeted cooperation, especially taking into account that innovations are going to be implemented in many schools," said Gayane Soghomonyan, Head of Department of general education.
Implementation and maintenance of the testing phase of "School Management Information System" has successfully passed in 17 schools of Syunik and Tavush and 3 schools in Yerevan, School No. 130 after N. Zaryan, School No. 128 after L. Tolstoy, School No. 52 after H. Hovhannisyan.
Companies which develop and coordinate the project “Nork” Information-Analytical Center and “Partnership and teaching” NGO presented literature and information posters on schools management to all Yerevan schools.
